Job summary

indiGO Auto Group in St. Louis seeks a full-time Sales Consultant to join our Porsche St. Louis team. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting company in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive sales experience, excellent verbal and math skills, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check. We offer a cohesive team, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years automotive sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and math skills; these may be tested.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
• Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Self-motivated and diligent.

Responsibilities

• Make regular customer contacts by floor time, phone ups, mail, and personal visits.
• Maintain a record of all customer contacts and report progress to the sales manager.
• Obtain training for factory qualifications and product knowledge for each model.
• Regularly contact previous customers and report performance to the sales manager.
• Take test-drives with customers according to management’s safety guidelines.
• Present all offers from customers to purchase vehicles to management.
• Prepare and process paperwork to finalize vehicle sales.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, collect monies, and process trade-ins as requested by management.
• Arrange the first service appointment for customers and follow up before/after the appointment.
