Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. in Colma, CA, operator of Lexus of Serramonte, is seeking an Automotive Salesperson to help customers select vehicles and create a positive buying experience.

You will greet customers, conduct test drives, explain features and pricing, guide financing and trade-ins, and strive to meet personal and dealership sales targets while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of luxury dealership sales experience.
• Lexus brand and/or luxury experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to understand needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Conduct test drives to showcase features and performance.
• Stay up-to-date on model features, specs and pricing.
• Guide customers through vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-ins.
• Negotiate and finalize sales agreements in a transparent, customer-friendly way.
• Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
• Build and maintain positive relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with other sales team members and departments for a seamless experience.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to enhance product knowledge and skills.
• Work toward achieving individual and team sales targets.
