Qualifications

• Experience in car dealership finance or accounting is required.
• Strong computer and software skills.
• Experience with accounting software, CDK preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional interaction with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Encourages process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide office staff including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee accounting functions and related information.
• Manage the general ledger and monthly close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly reports.
• Understand payroll processing and payroll tax systems.
• Oversee vendor management and outsourcing.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and taxes.
• Review accounting records and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain organized financial records.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and support external auditors.
• Contribute to additional duties or projects as assigned.
