Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is hiring an Appliance Designer in Cedar Park, TX. You will help clients plan and design high-end indoor and outdoor kitchens, discussing style, scope, and investment to craft stunning spaces.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, presenting drawings and product specs, ordering products, and following up to ensure client satisfaction. Trainees with a strong retail background and design interest are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years of retail sales experience.
• Appliance background and ability to read blueprints and layout floor plans.
• Interior design, architecture or art background preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work nights/weekends as needed.

Your Piece of the Puzzle Do you have an eye for design and display? If so, we have the perfect job for you! As NFM’s Appliance Designer you will be responsible for assisting NFM customers plan and design in-door and outdoor high-end kitchens.

Job Duties

• Collaborate: Discuss with the client their style preferences, scope of project and investment plan
• Advise: Counsel client on space planning, layout and color coordination to ensure practical and esthetically pleasing designs
• Present: Lay out quotes, drawings and product specifications for client approval
• Order: Purchase products and accessories for customer
• Follow-up: Reach out to the client to confirm satisfaction of all designer services
• Research: Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, websites and other sources
• Generate: Work designated territory to generate sales in new home and business construction
