CTH Recruiting LLC is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper for our Columbus, OH area property. The role focuses on maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment through daily upkeep and proactive problem-solving, with on-site responsibilities across landscaping and general exterior maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on groundskeeping or property maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to perform outdoor work year-round.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and safety of a luxury property—from daily trash pickup to seasonal landscaping.
• Proactively spot and resolve issues during property walks (trash, hazards, appearance, safety).
• Support minor repairs and assist the maintenance team on projects.
• Help prepare vacant exteriors for new residents.
• Commit to on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (post-training/probation).

We’re seeking a skilled Groundskeeper with direct experience in property, landscaping, or facility care — or a proven background in a trade or service field where attention to detail, reliability, and pride in one’s work are essential.

This role is about more than just keeping things tidy. Our residents expect and deserve a pristine, welcoming environment. The right candidate will know what it takes to deliver that consistently, day in and day out.

Who is a Strong Fit for This Role?

You have:

• Previous experience in apartment groundskeeping, professional landscaping, property maintenance, facilities, or a similar hands-on field OR a work history that clearly demonstrates attention to detail, reliability, and independent problem-solving (for example: hotel housekeeping, building janitorial, outdoor maintenance, or military service).
• A track record of working independently and holding yourself accountable for high standards, without close supervision.
• The ability to identify and address small issues before they become big problems — you don’t walk past debris, safety hazards, or anything out of place.
• Physical ability for regular outdoor work in all seasons, including walking the property and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using landscaping tools and learning new equipment as needed.

What You’ll Do
