Job summary

Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii, is seeking a Kō Server to provide inspired food & beverage service that connects guests to our destination. You will showcase our diverse cuisine with detailed knowledge and warm hospitality, delivering moments that become memories.

The role requires a minimum of two years serving in a high-volume luxury setting, a valid TB clearance and Hawaii state health standards compliance. Weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years serving experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred in luxury hotel environment.
• Wine knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Confirm station assignment.
• Complete daily opening checklist and duties.
• Follow sequence of service from welcome to table reset.
• Have full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Engage guests with passion and emotional connection to the dining experience.
• Participate in monthly departmental sales promotions.
• Adhere to Hawaii food handling safety standards and cleanliness guidelines.
• Time management to complete side work and maintain service flow.
