Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group seeks a courteous valet to drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles at our Portland hotel. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, and ensure vehicle security while delivering high-level service.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of hotel services, parking procedures, and local attractions, responding promptly to guest needs, and coordinating with the night staff to finalize vehicle handling and charges as required.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license.
• Excellent driving record.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Able to drive all vehicle types.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
• Provide legible directions to guests.

Responsibilities

• Drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles safely and courteously.
• Greet guests and assist with loading/unloading luggage.
• Document vehicle locations and ensure security of keys.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, parking procedures and local attractions.
• Communicate parking procedures and respond to guest inquiries.
• Follow department procedures for accidents, incidents, and discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the post and report hazards.
