Job summary

Mandara Spas invites a Licensed Nail Technician to provide and maintain the highest standards of nail services and recommendations for home care. A nail technician must deliver excellent guest care and create a sense of rest and relaxation for spa guests, driving retention and increased treatment and retail sales.

Responsibilities include thorough nail services, home-care prescriptions, setting up stations, promoting spa treatments and products, educating guests, and maintaining sanitation per

Qualifications

• Must have an applicable state license to perform services.
• Must have received nail training from an accredited/approved nail school.
• 12 to 18 months preferred experience in a high-end resort or urban day spa.
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with thorough and knowledgeable professional nail services, adhering to company protocols.
• Ensure guests receive a detailed home care regimen after each service.
• Set up work station according to standards.
• Maintain established revenue and guest retention goals for the nail department.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards per laws and spa policies.
• Actively promote spa treatments, retail products, packages, and seasonal promotions.
• Possess knowledge of all services and educate guests accordingly.
• Perform prep work and clean/restock stations.
• Attend departmental meetings, trainings and workshops.
• Provide services within regulatory scope and local laws.
• Perform gel manicures.
