Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Esthetician to join the Wellness Department. You will consult with members to assess skincare needs, explain services, and help guests select treatments and products for outstanding results.

Responsibilities include waxing, facials, body treatments, makeup, maintaining cleanliness, following health regulations, and delivering a personalized luxury spa experience for members and guests.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as an Esthetician.
• High School diploma or GED; additional degrees preferred.
• Minimum two years experience as an Esthetician.
• Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs preferred.
• Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly personality.
• Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product lines.
• Deep knowledge of skin care techniques; specialized treatment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner and guiding them to treatment rooms.
• Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring schedule.
• Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions about their interests.
• Maintain knowledge of Spa Menu and products to relay information and suggestions.
• Conducts thorough health and skincare consultations prior to each service.
• Perform waxing, facials, body treatments, makeup applications.
• Evaluate skin condition and offer treatment recommendations.
• Recommend skincare products and post-treatment care.
• Maintain confidentiality and keep areas clean and sanitary.
• Comply with health regulations and esthetics policies.
• Assist with spa operations and scheduling.
