Job summary

Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club, located near Fajardo, Puerto Rico, seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Director of Golf in daily operations, events, clinics and member service.

You will assist with tournaments, oversee the Golf Shop, coordinate lesson programs, and maintain the USGA handicap program with MGA, while upholding Discovery Land Company's standards.

This full-time role requires excellent communication, flexibility and a passion for luxury private club experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or Recreation is a plus.
• PGA or LPGA membership preferred, or actively pursue PGA membership through the PGA PGM program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Golf Operations department.
• Assist Director of Golf with tournaments, clinics, and events.
• Manage the Golf Shop and merchandise; handle sales and inventories.
• Greet members, assist with pre-golf check-in, and record charges in the POS.
• Coordinate group lessons and junior/lady/beginner clinics.
• Maintain USGA handicap program with MGA; support tournament operations.
