CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking a Rooms PM Engineer to join our luxury Fort Lauderdale property. This role focuses on preventive maintenance of building systems, ensuring high standards of guest comfort and flawless operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related amenities.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven maintenance experience in a luxury hotel or similar setting.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems with relevant certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for guest and team interactions.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Address minor damages and cosmetic issues to maintain luxury standards.
• Update and maintain maintenance logs; flag recurrent issues.
• Ensure guest amenities are stocked and presented to luxury standards.
• Follow safety and cleanliness protocols; maintain a clean work area.
• Ensure electronic interfaces and fixtures function reliably for guests.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests to minimize disruption.
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold standards of excellence.
