Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman, a landmark luxury retailer in New York, is seeking an Operations Associate to support daily store operations, stock, and order fulfillment. You will help maintain merchandise organization, assist with events, and ensure pricing/ signage accuracy in a fast-paced luxury environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Ability to multitask with a team-oriented approach.
• Standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and assist with leadership guidance.
• Handle merchandise: transfers, inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfill, pack and ship online and store orders.
• Place merchandise to meet standards.
• Adjust prices and reticketing; move signs as needed.
• Reticketing, damages, and stock control.
• Maintain back stock and stockroom organization.
• Assist with merchandising for events and signage.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events.
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in work areas.
