Job summary

Halekulani in Honolulu is seeking a Pool Service Attendant to enhance guest interactions, from arrival to departure, while maintaining pristine pool and deck areas. You will assist with seating, towel service, beverage orders, and guest amenities in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in an iconic Waikiki resort environment. CPR and alcohol certifications are preferred and expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Restaurant Server or Pool Attendant or guest service role.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Liquor Commission Card and alcohol awareness certification; must be 18+ in Honolulu.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, outdoor luxury environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with seating and towels; take and deliver food and beverage orders.
• Input orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy at bar.
• Prepare the pool deck for service and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide water service within 5 minutes of seating and offer amenities.
• Record guest names, room numbers and preferences in OpenTable when applicable.
• Close out duties, collect payments, and reconcile transactions.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to management promptly.
