Job summary

Hyatt Hotel Canberra is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Administration professional to support daily office operations, guest requests and room status coordination within a luxury hotel environment.

You will work closely with Front Office, Engineering and Housekeeping teams to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and guest expectations are exceeded, while maintaining Hyatt standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Housekeeping or hotel administration
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Commitment to Hyatt service standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Housekeeping Office operations, including room allocations, guest requests and departmental communications.
• Monitor Opera PMS and HotSOS to ensure accurate room status and timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, guest amenities, rollaway beds, baby cots, laundry and special housekeeping requests.
• Maintain the Lost Property register and ensure guest belongings are handled per procedures.
• Prepare daily allocation sheets, operational reports and support administrative functions including roster updates and stock ordering.
• Work closely with Front Office, Engineering and Housekeeping leaders to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and guest expectations are exceeded.
