Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
• Training and experience in lung transplantation required; postgraduate experience preferred.
• Expertise in minimally invasive procedures; robotic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, perform lung transplantation implantation and perioperative care.
• Distribute effort 50/50 between lung transplantation and general thoracic surgery.
• Participate in graduate medical education and supervise residents.
• Engage in research development within the department.
• Maintain a 1:3 call schedule and collaborate across teams.
