Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce playground rules and safety standards.
• Supervise students in buildings, lunch, playground, assemblies, and during buses as directed by the principal.
• Supervise and monitor students during assigned playground periods.
• Ensure students are orderly and behaving appropriately.
• Interact with students to provide assistance and maintain order.
• Assist students in cleaning up spills and disposing of trash.
• Direct movement of students between playground, lunchroom and classrooms safely.
• Inspect playground for security and equipment and report concerns to the principal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
