Kenowa Hills Public Schools seeks energetic Lunch, Recess, and Classroom Support Paraprofessionals for Alpine Elementary. This in-person role supports students during lunch and recess and provides classroom assistance, supervision, and academic support as assigned.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–1:15pm (4.75 hrs). CPI and Ukeru training are required. Ideal candidates will work well in large groups, reinforce PBIS, and collaborate with staff to foster a safe, inclusive school climate.

This position supports students during lunch and recess periods and provides classroom assistance, supervision, and academic support as assigned.
This is an in-person position requiring regular on-site attendance. The essential functions of this position cannot be performed remotely.

The work environment may include moderate to high noise levels, frequent movement, outdoor supervision, varying weather conditions, student conflicts, and emergency situations requiring sound judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Pursuant to PA 131, the selected candidate must receive clearance from the Michigan State Police Department prior to employment through Livescan fingerprinting. The candidate is responsible for the fingerprinting background check fee.
