Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interest in working with school-age children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to problem-solve issues quickly.
• Successful experience supervising children grades K-8.
• First Aid Certification is a plus.
• Possesses the ability to communicate and follow written and oral directions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students in the lunchroom.
• Supervise and assist students on the playground.
• Assist with cleaning the lunchroom.
• Assist with distribution of lunches.
• Use Red Rover Absence Management System to accept vacancy assignments.
• May be asked to assist with light clerical duties as assigned by the principal, such as copying, organizing, laminating instructional materials, assisting in the media center with non-clerical tasks, e.g. shelving books, straightening materials.
• Other tasks as assigned by the principal.
