Position Title: Lunchroom/Playground Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hours: Monday-Friday on Student Contact Days, 4 Hours/Day

Job Summary: The Lunchroom/Playground Supervisor is responsible for supervising and positively interacting with students during lunchtime and recess, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to managing the responsibilities of providing an outstanding experience for a diverse student population, contributing to a positive school climate, and using restorative approaches to help students solve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Student Supervision:
  • Oversee students in the lunchroom and playground, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Interact positively with students, promoting respectful behavior and conflict resolution.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with school staff to manage student behavior and create a supportive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to maintain a positive cli
• Behavior Management:
  • Utilize restorative practices to address and resolve conflicts among students.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and support students in developing problem-solving skills.
• Additional Duties:
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Salary and Benefits:
