Job summary

Cheshire Public Schools' Barnum Elementary School is seeking a part-time Lunchroom/Playground Aide for 3 hours a day, Monday through Friday, 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM. You will monitor students during lunch and on the playground and support the Composting Program with the Food & Nutrition staff.

Supervision is provided by the school principal or their designee. The role requires courteous interaction with students, staff and the public, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral and/or written instructions.
• Relate to students, staff and the public in a courteous manner.

Salary In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $17.85/ hr
