Job summary

DeWitt Public Schools is seeking a lunch and recess supervisor to provide assistance and supervision to students during the lunch and recess program. This role reports to the Building Principal and ensures a positive, safe environment during lunch and recess periods.

The ideal candidate will hold a High School diploma or GED and preferably have knowledge or experience with upper elementary students. This is a 3.0 hour/day, non-exempt position under the DESPA Union Contract.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety.
• Direct movements to ensure smooth transitions between lunch and recess.
• Experience with upper elementary students is preferred.

• Provide assistance and supervision to students during lunch and recess.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment during lunch and recess periods.
• Direct movement of students within cafeteria/playground boundaries.
