Job summary

Wayne County Schools is seeking a Lunch Aide to supervise students in the lunchroom and support classroom and cafeteria activities. The position requires a High School diploma and willingness to obtain first aid and CPR certification, with prior experience working with children preferred.

Hours range from 5 to 20 per week, at $14.25 per hour, paid through EduStaff. This on-site role emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to school policies.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding students at all times.
• Assist in cafeteria as needed.
• Direct movement of groups to and from lunchroom.
• Provide a positive adult image to students, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Participate in necessary training/in-service(s).
• Maintain appropriate professional relationship and demeanor with students at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
