Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Human Factors Engineer for its Lunar program. You will lead HF activities from requirements to verification, shaping crew safety and operability for crewed lunar vehicles.

You will coordinate HITL testing, perform anthropometric analyses, and work with NASA and design teams to influence system architecture. The role requires a strong systems engineering background, 5+ years in HF, and clear communication to translate complex HF findings into actionable engineering

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own HF activities from requirements development through verification.
• Write and challenge HF requirements to reflect crew safety.
• Develop and own HF verification strategy and events.
• Lead HITL test campaigns across environments and translate results into design direction.
• Perform anthropometric analyses to support design decisions.
• Influence system architecture based on HF findings and collaborate with NASA.
