Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking a Test Engineer to support environmental testing for lunar mission systems. You will execute campaigns from planning through data collection and lead test operations with development and flight hardware.

The role requires designing solutions, coordinating with engineers, and enforcing safety during test activities. Required are a BS/MS in a technical field and 2+ years of test experience, with familiarity in thermal vacuum, acoustic, modal, or shock testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years test experience in aerospace or related field
• Experience in thermal vacuum, acoustic, modal or shock testing
• Ability to manage multiple test campaigns and tasks
• Fundamentals of design, material selection, interfaces and environmental considerations
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and drawing creation

Responsibilities

• Execute an entire environmental test campaign from planning to data collection
• Assist in assembly and test of development and flight hardware including data analysis
• Lead daily test operations and coordinate with internal customers
• Perform root cause analysis and failure investigations during tests
• Communicate with Responsible Engineers and leadership during test planning and execution
• Participate in test readiness reviews and post-test reviews
• Coordinate test crews and configurations for testing
• Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations
