Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Golden, Colorado, is seeking an Electronics and Harness Technician to support build, assembly, integration, and testing of electrical hardware for lunar vehicles and spacecraft systems.

The role involves wiring harness fabrication, hand soldering, test support, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Onsite schedule is four days with a remote Wednesday option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, technical certification, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in electronics assembly, cable fabrication, soldering, or related technical work
• Demonstrated experience building and inspecting cable assemblies and wiring harnesses
• Proficiency in hand soldering and electronic rework techniques
• Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and schematics
• Experience using standard electrical test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with ESD controls and electronics handling best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hardware development environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering, rework, and repair of through-hole and surface-mount electronic components
• Fabricate, assemble, and inspect spacecraft and prototype wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical hardware
• Build and integrate electromechanical assemblies from engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and wiring diagrams
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and basic electrical verification testing
• Identify and document hardware nonconformances, workmanship issues, and assembly discrepancies
• Assist with inventory management, parts preparation, and hardware organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory and production environment
• Support vehicle, subsystem, and prototype integration activities as required
