West Fraser in Opelika, AL seeks a forklift operator to safely move lumber and stack/unstack on kilns and yards. You will perform pre-shift checks, refuel, drive a 35,000-pound forklift, and follow safety procedures in a loud outdoor setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift; stack/unstack lumber on kiln carts and yard.
• Unload the green stacker and move boards to rough dry units.
• Keep kiln areas and lumber yard clean and organized.
• Perform pre-shift forklift checks and refuel as needed.
• Follow safety policies, lockout procedures, and supervisor instructions.
