Job summary

Trinity Staffing Solutions LLC in Dallas, AL is seeking a skilled Lumber Forklift Operator to join our team. You will safely operate forklifts, move lumber and building materials, and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, inspecting equipment, following OSHA guidelines, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines. OSHA-certified or obtain-on-hire certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience required, preferably in lumber or building materials setting.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one upon hire.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in an outdoor/warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize lumber and building materials.
• Load and unload lumber shipments from trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate inventory by properly staging and storing materials in designated areas.
• Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with lumber yard organization and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.
