Job summary

The Crom Corporation is seeking a Lumber Yard Crew member for our Gainesville facility. You will assist in providing new and precut lumber, set up jigs, cut dome and wall ribs, and assemble wedges. This is an outdoor role requiring attention to safety and teamwork.

No experience is required, HS diploma or equivalent is preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to operate or learn forklift are recommended. Expect outdoor work five 8-hour days with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dome wedge jigs.
• Set up dome and wall jigs.
• Cut dome and wall ribs and assemble dome wedges.
• Performs safety inspection of reused walkboards, plywood 2”x 6” bracing, dome and wall ribs.
• Procures new lumber.
• Unloads, counts and stores new and used lumber.
• Observe and maintain all safety procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned.
