Job summary

PARR, a leading supplier of building materials in the United States, is seeking a yard team member to assist the Lead Sawyer in assembling optimized lumber packages and supporting yard operations. The role requires alertness to safety, ability to read tickets, and effective communication with team members.

The position is outdoors with rotating Mon-Sat shifts. English proficiency is required; OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English.
• OSHA Certified Forklift License preferred.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and invoices.
• PPE compliance and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment and maintain yard cleanliness.
• Perform daily safety audits of saws and equipment.
• Load lumber with manual and forklift methods and cut to dimensions.
• Sort, stack, and prepare packs by wall number for delivery.
• Execute quality checks for layouts and component printing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
