Carter Lumber is hiring for a Yard/Materials Associate in Ohio. You will assist contractors and DIYers with order selection and loading, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and help maintain yard inventory.

Forklift operation is involved; you’ll keep the yard organized and safe while working in an outdoor environment. We value a friendly, team-oriented individual with customer service experience and familiarity with building materials.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Friendly personality is essential.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Must be a team player.
• Able to work outside in all conditions.
• This is a 1st shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain Yard inventory with cycle counts.
• Keep the Yard organized and clean.
