Job summary

Honsador Lumber - Maui in Kahului, HI is seeking an Order Filler to accurately pull, stage, and prepare customer orders in a busy warehouse and yard environment. You will work with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure on-time fulfillment.

Applicants should read and follow work orders, maintain accuracy, and adhere to safety policies. No formal degree required; a High School diploma or GED is preferred; forklift experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay with union benefits.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, stage, and prepare customer orders according to invoices, pick tickets, and customer specifications.
• Verify quantities, dimensions, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
• Load and unload building materials safely and efficiently.
• Organize and stage materials for customer pickup and delivery routes.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers with loading materials into vehicles.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and customer requests.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to verify quantities, measurements, and material counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with general warehouse and yard duties as needed.
