Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a Log Loader/Lumber Forklift Operator to join our Norton, WV operations. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you will handle logs, load trailers, and operate wheel loaders in a fast-paced lumber yard environment.

The role requires forklift experience, the ability to lift heavy objects, teamwork, and a strong attention to detail. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screening and adapt to a non-temperature-controlled work setting.

Qualifications

• Background check, employment verification and drug screening required.
• Positive and verifiable work history.
• Previous experience in the wood manufacturing sector.
• Log loader or lumber forklift experience is required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load flatbed lumber trailers.
• Unload and move lumber carts.
• Sort and stack logs with a wheel loader.
• Sort and stack lumber packs with a wheel loader or lumber lift.
• Organize lumber yard and track loads coming off chain.
• Perform other work-related tasks as directed by mill management.
