Responsibilities

• Answer questions and direct customers to materials and merchandise in the lumber yard.
• Load merchandise onto store delivery trucks or transfers.
• Assist with unloading deliveries as necessary.
• Move lumber and boards from units to racks according to grade and length.
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials to move or load.
• Assist customers with loading purchased merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and racks.
