Job summary

UFP Industries in Coatesville, PA is seeking a General Labor associate to safely handle lumber products and verify that material meets customer requirements and company standards.

You will move and secure materials, stack finished products, label by type/size/count, operate a staple gun, and keep a clean, organized work area while contributing to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and materials per instructions.
• Stack finished products per predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size, and count.
• Operate a staple gun and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain inventory and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs.
