Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Moves and secures lumber products and materials according to instructions.
• Stacks finished products by predetermined bundle sizes and customer requirements.
• Labels material by type, size, and count.
• Applies individual tags to material before/after treating/production.
• Uses a staple gun and troubleshoots equipment.
• Binds, bands, and secures material, attaching corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Follows stacking instructions per policy and customer requirements.
• Ensures correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving the area.
• Maintains inventory of tags and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Records production on production sheets.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Assists with other areas by moving material and unloading carts.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as required.
