Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Stacker - Sawline in Hartselle, AL for full-time work in the lumber processing area. You will safely handle lumber products, move materials, and help ensure accurate counting, labeling, and stacking to meet customer specifications and production goals.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills and are comfortable with physical labor. HS diploma is preferred but not mandatory, and experience in manufacturing or lumber is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
• Stack finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size and count; apply individual tags before/after treating/production.
• Band, bundle and secure material; attach corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies to supervisor; record production on sheets.
