Job summary

Timberlyne is seeking a General Laborer to support lumber mill operations including stacking lumber and moving inventory. This entry-level role requires basic physical stamina and the ability to follow daily work instructions.

Responsibilities include operating basic saws/molders as trained, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and participating in safety meetings. High school diploma and reliable attendance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mill or wood production environment preferred.
• Communicate effectively with any levels/departments within the organization.
• High school diploma.
• Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily work instructions including operating saws, moulders, etc., and stacking lumber off machine centers.
• Learn and understand quality and stacking standards.
• Ability to learn to operate material handling equipment.
• Assist in basic maintenance to equipment.
• Gain understanding of mill operations and production processes.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Attend all safety meetings and necessary production meetings.
• Keep production area clean and free of hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
