Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the Dudley, NC Lumber Mill. You will operate lumber production equipment as part of a team to fulfill customer demand in a growing industry.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience, with preferred forklift experience. This is a day shift with 12-hour rotations (6 am–6 pm) in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing experience or similar labor environment (farming, construction, etc).

Responsabilités

• Operate lumber production equipment as part of a team to meet facility production goals.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, electrical and reliability staff to identify issues and help resolve them.
• Learn and apply preventative maintenance practices to improve machine center reliability.
• Perform tasks in a non-climate controlled setting, including lifting up to 50 lbs for up to 12 hours per day.
