Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in the United States seeks a General Labor worker to safely handle lumber products, verify material meets customer requirements, and support production.

You will move and secure lumber, label and bundle according to specs, maintain accurate production records, and participate in safety and CI programs.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED (preferred). The role pays $17.00 per hour with benefits including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Moves and secures lumber products and other materials as instructed.
• Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Labels material based on type, size, and count.
• Records production on production sheets.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Assists with other work areas by moving material and loading/unloading material carts.
