Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a General Labor to safely handle lumber products and verify material against customer and company specs. You will support production tasks and ensure accurate labeling and inventory control.

Primary duties include moving, stacking, labeling, and using staple guns; you’ll maintain a clean workspace and participate in safety programs. High school diploma is optional; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Basic math skills recommended.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and materials according to instructions.
• Stack finished products by bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size, and count.
• Record production on production sheets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety and other programs and meetings.
