Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations and staff across its Texas footprint. You will drive sales performance, ensure safety, manage inventory, and coordinate cross‑department workflows to maximize profitability.

The successful candidate will bring 1–3 years of management experience in building materials or related industries, and a Bachelor’s degree in business or construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years of management experience in a related industry required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct daily store activities and staff, resolving issues and implementing solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available for operations.
• Oversee profitability of sales activities and store operations.
• Audit safety and attend monthly store/department safety meetings.
• Set operational goals and develop work schedules to meet them.
• Review sales, expenses, labor costs, attendance, and other reports affecting store performance.
• Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and correct usage.
• Control costs and enforce budget adherence.
• Perform hiring, training, performance reviews, wage recommendations, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate workflow between departments and locations; align with company policies.
