About the Team
The Enterprise Data & AI organization is a strategic and operational driver of growth, building data and AI platforms that enable intelligent operations across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the enterprise data platform that supports data and analytics across the organization.
- Develop the enterprise data architecture blueprint and lead the build of the data platform for data discovery, aggregation, and downstream consumption.
- Drive operational excellence focusing on availability, observability, security, access controls, reliability, and performance.
- Deliver standardized, reusable platform services that support data product and analytics teams, improving platform efficiency, scalability, and self‑service capabilities.
- Lead development of robust data integration capabilities, including batch and real‑time pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming, APIs, CDC), and ensure high‑quality data delivery for business‑critical use cases.
- Partner with data governance and security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise data policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Embed data quality, lineage, and observability practices within platform capabilities and promote trusted data assets.
- Lead adoption of modern data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices, and continuously enhance developer experience and platform usability.
- Translate sub‑functional strategy into actionable roadmaps, deliver against objectives, and manage budgets, resources, and priorities.
- Collaborate with data product, analytics, AI, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with evolving needs and support delivery teams with scalable, secure data access patterns.
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing data platform engineering organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master's degree beneficial).
- 8–10+ years of experience engineering data platforms and services in large‑scale or complex environments.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams focused on data engineering and data platform.
- Strong expertise in data engineering, cloud data platforms, enterprise data architecture, and distributed data processing technologies.
- Experience building and operating enterprise‑grade data infrastructure, including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational execution while supporting broader strategic objectives.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
- Experience working within established data strategies and governance frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The typical hiring range for this position is $205,900 – $270,300 annually; base pay is based on market location and may vary based on experience. Workplace Arrangement
In‑person collaboration is essential to our culture. Work is performed onsite, minimum 4 days per week.
