Food Management Search, Inc. is partnering with a premier regional hospital in Illinois to recruit a full-time Emergency Medicine physician.

This role offers a lucrative compensation package of $475,000 per year with double-physician coverage and a workload designed to mitigate burnout. Responsibilities include providing high-quality emergency care in a 32-bed ED, coordinating transfers for high-acuity cases, and maintaining timely EMR documentation, with a stable rotation of three 10-hour

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility to obtain.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a 32-bed ED.
• Maintain double-physician coverage in collaboration with a second on-duty physician.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity cases to tertiary partners.
• Adhere to documentation and electronic medical record requirements.
• Work a predictable rotation of 15 shifts per month across three 10-hour blocks.
