Description
Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst / Systems Administrator with strong Lacernex platform expertise to support and lead Phase 2 of a major enterprise rollout initiative. This individual will join a small, highly visible team responsible for administering and enhancing the Lacernex platform that supports more than 800 users across the organization.

This role is approximately 70% Systems Administration and 30% Business Analysis and will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders across Store Design, Construction, Real Estate, and Finance. The ideal candidate will possess the technical knowledge of a systems administrator combined with the communication and stakeholder management skills of a business analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Lacernex platform.
  • Lead and support Phase 2 implementation and enhancement activities for the organization's Lacernex rollout.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize system workflows, business processes, and platform functionality.
  • Perform user provisioning, security administration, and system configuration management.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and implement system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolutions to ensure platform stability and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, system configurations, and process documentation.
  • Utilize SQL to validate data integrity between application interfaces and downstream data marts.
  • Review, modify, and maintain SQL scripts used for reporting and system integrations.
  • Support data extraction and reporting needs related to Lacernex functionality.
  • Leverage JavaScript to support platform configuration, customization, and enhancement efforts.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership.
  • Support testing, deployment activities, and user adoption efforts as new functionality is released.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting Lacernex.
  • Experience with:
    • Workflow development
    • System configuration
    • User provisioning and administration
  • Strong understanding of business process automation within enterprise platforms.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including:
    • Query development
    • Data validation and troubleshooting
    • Script modifications and enhancements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SLM/Acruent or other legacy systems related to Lacernex.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
  • Experience supporting retail, construction, real estate, store development, or facilities-related business functions.
  • Advanced SQL skills.

CLIENT JOB DESCRIPTION
Application Administration & Support
  • Administer and maintain the Lucernex platform and associated integrations.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of production issues.
  • Manage user access, security roles, workflows, system configurations, and data integrity.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with software vendors and internal technology teams to address system issues and enhancements.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and system configurations.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create functional and technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.
Implementation & Project Delivery
  • Lead and support end-to-end system implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Configure, test, deploy, and validate system changes and new functionality.
  • Support UAT activities and ensure successful transition to production.
  • Participate in data migration, integration, and reporting initiatives.
  • Assist with internal development and build activities related to ongoing project implementations.
Development & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain custom solutions, scripts, queries, and reports.
  • Utilize JavaScript and SQL to support system functionality, integrations, troubleshooting, and reporting requirements.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support integration efforts with procurement, financial, and operational systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Business Systems Analyst, or related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL including query development, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading or supporting end-to-end system implementations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications and business systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Lucernex or other Accruent software solutions.
  • Experience supporting lease administration, real estate, facilities, or construction management systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement and sourcing systems.
  • Understanding of commercial construction and real estate business processes.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data migration activities.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
