Job summary

Primient is seeking a Lubrication Technician in Decatur, IL, to perform lubrication routines on processing equipment and facility infrastructure. You will work with mechanics to troubleshoot lubrication-related issues and ensure clean, properly stored lubricants while following contamination control practices.

Responsibilities include managing lubrication tasks via LUBE-IT, maintaining dispensing systems, conducting oil samples, and coordinating with the reliability and process mechanical teams

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills needed.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Navigate LUBE-IT app-based lubrication routine map, including task issue & completion.
• Use tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions.
• Drain, clean, and flush equipment reservoirs.
• Grease and relubricate with dispensing equipment.
• Maintain dispensing equipment and lubrication cabinets.
• Create SAP notifications for maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with reliability and process mechanical teams on ad-hoc projects.
• Perform assigned work orders and account for inventory and labour in SAP.
• Perform other routine or preventative maintenance tasks as required.
