Job summary

Prysmian in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Mechanical/Lubrication Technician to maintain production equipment, perform lubrication, and carry out preventive maintenance. You’ll use hand and power tools, follow safety guidelines, and support a loud manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year lubrication experience is preferred. Mon-Fri 7am–5pm; starting pay is $23/hr with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• MLT-1 certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1 year lubrication experience preferred but not required.
• Must have working knowledge of lubrication tools, hand/power tools, basic mathematics and preventive/predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate equipment and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Use lubrication tools and hand/power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean work areas and manage spills.
• Operate forklifts, scissors lifts, and basket trucks as needed.
• Provide feedback on service delivery discrepancies.
• Work from ladders or platforms with fall protection as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
