Job summary

Texas Pride Fuels is hiring a Lubricant Truck Driver to haul products across West Texas and southeast New Mexico. You will operate Class A equipment (flatbed, step-deck, tanker), advise customers on lubricants and applications, and verify shipment documents.

Expect 12-hour shifts, 15 days on/6 days off, and travel to multiple locations. Starting wages are $22/hour with a $0.50/hour bump for X endorsement, plus time-on-job raises for the first year, overtime, a $300 sign-on bonus, paid travel

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and clean driving record.
• 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat experience in tanker-trailer preferred.
• Strong safety background.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Basic Microsoft Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul products to and from customer locations using Class A equipment (flatbed, step-deck, tanker).
• Advise customers on products and applications.

• Work: The Lubricant Truck Driver will be responsible for hauling various products to and from designated customer locations utilizing a variety of class A equipment (flatbed, step-deck, tanker), advising customers on these products by applying knowledge of industrial lubricants and applications, and verifying and processing shipment documents

Required Qualifications

• Valid class A driver's license with tanker endorsement and clean driving record (required)


• 2 years of class A driving experience (required).


• Experience hauling hazardous materials in a tanker-trailer (preferred)


• Strong safety background


• Knowledge of basic hand tools


• Basic Microsoft Excel experience


• Ability to adapt effectively in dynamic situations


• Ability to work effectively alone and within team setting.


• Must be able to pass a DOT physical or \"Fit for Duty\" physical exam


• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write the English language


• Must satisfactorily pass a drug test and background check.


• Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement


• Must be able to withstand the physical stress of working long hours in inclement weather, while wearing Personal Protective Equipment and performing job functions.

Compensation And Benefits

• $22/hour to start, +$.50/hour for X endorsement


• Time on the job raises every three months for first year, total of +$1.50/hour


• Time and a half pay for hours over 40 in a work week


• $300 sign-on bonus


• Paid travel time to and from hitch (5-7 hours)


• $69/day per diem


• Company-provided lodging

Schedule and Location

• 2 weeks on/1 week off in parts of west Texas and southeast New Mexico, 12 hour shifts, day or night shifts available


• Scheduled work location dependent on business need.


• Work locations include parts of West Texas (Midland/Odessa, Pecos, Orla), southeast New Mexico (Carlsbad, Jal, Hobbs)


• Must be able to travel to work locations to be considered for employment
