Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in the Midwest is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and other basic services, while driving customers and picking up parts as needed.

You must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, and be able to work five days, including Saturdays. A basic understanding of automotive mechanics is preferred. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, with benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors or the office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and follows safety procedures.
