Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in Sikeston, MO to perform basic tire and oil service, driver duties, and parts pickup. You will operate shop equipment, assist with inspections, and help maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, using the Multi-point Inspection process, and supporting the Shop Foreman with job duties. The role requires a valid license and willingness to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and showroom and surroundings.
