Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to safely transport customers and perform basic vehicle services at our Lake Saint Louis location. The role includes tire mounting, oil changes, and light maintenance under supervision, contributing to a clean, safe shop environment.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a general understanding of automotive mechanics. The job supports competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Ability to work Saturdays
